Through Allstate Workplace Division (AWD), Benefits Managers have a broad portfolio of insurance products from which they can choose. In addition, the AHLminimedical® product provides a limited benefit medical plan available to part-time employees as well as other non-qualifying employees. Group Universal Life Insurance
Group Universal Life Insurance coverage provides a death benefit and over time, provides tax-deferred fund value accumulation that may be used for retirement, children's education, or emergencies. Contingent Guarantee Issue Group Universal Life Insurance Coverage is available to employees of qualified groups. Several Riders are also available. This is in addition to any coverage already provided by the employer.
Group SHOP Hospital Indemnity
Referred to as SHOP (Supplemental Health Options Policy), pays predetermined amounts for covered hospital, outpatient, nursing, transportation and physician services. Optional benefits include prescription drug coverage; wellness and preventative testing; diagnostic X-rays; off-the-job accident and sickness disability coverage; and term life coverage. Group SHOP is a perfect supplement to your Group Health Insurance plan. PPO Network available in approved states.
Group Critical Illness
Group Critical Illness coverage pays lump sum benefits (from $10,000 to $100,000) directly to the insured at the time a covered illness is diagnosed for heart attack, stroke, heart transplant and other threatening conditions as defined in the certificate. Options are available for cancer, wellness, recurrence and comprehensive wellness benefits.
Group Cancer and Specified Disease
Group Cancer and Specified Disease pays benefits that can be used for non-medical related expenses that health insurance may not cover as a result of cancer and 29 other specified diseases. Benefits are paid as they go and cover the cost of specific treatments and expenses as they happen.
Group Accident
Group Accident coverage pays lump sum benefits for on- and off-the-job accidents, in addition to existing medical coverage. This plan provides 24 hour accident benefits for dislocations, fractures, loss of limbs, and death as a result of an accident. Hospital, Intensive Care and other medical expenses are covered in the Accident plan.
