Scott Carver
Chief Executive Officer
Scott is an entrepreneur and industry innovator with more than 26 years of executive level management experience.
Prior to founding PlanSource, Scott founded and served as President of SYLINQ Corporation, which provided similar technology as that developed by PlanSource, but specifically for large employers. The same team that has created the PlanSource tool also developed the SYLINQ product. Under Scott's leadership, SYLINQ grew to be the recognized industry leader in large employer benefits administration. SYLINQ was subsequently acquired by Ceridian, a global business services company, in 2002. At Ceridian, Scott ran the business development efforts for their human resources and benefits business. Scott now uses the experience he gained working with large employers to solve the benefits administration challenges of small and mid-sized employers.
Scott previously held a senior executive position with First Health, one of the nation's largest PPO networks that provides health benefits services to self-funded national employers across the country. He was also a senior executive with Sedgwick Noble Lowndes, which was later acquired by Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and strategic risk advisor.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Michigan State University.

Ted White
Chief Operating Officer
Ted is a charismatic leader with over 35 years of senior-level management experience in the health care and insurance arenas with strong backgrounds in operations, client services, and business development.
Ted was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Long Term Care Group (LTCG), an insurance outsourcing company that was founded in 1997 with $16 million of venture capital and, due to Ted's outstanding leadership, was sold for $135 million seven years later.
Prior to LTCG, Ted was Chief Executive Officer of First Health Strategies, a large full-service third-party administrator (TPA) covering three million employees and dependants. During his tenure at First Health, Ted held numerous high-level management positions including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. Ted also held leadership positions with United Mine Workers of America Health & Retirement Funds, U.S. Administrators, and Altra Federal Credit Union.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland.

Richard Mann
Chief Product Strategy Officer
Richard, who was part of the team that founded PlanSource, serves as the company's Chief Product Strategy Officer. Richard brings a proven understanding of the needs of employers of all sizes for efficient, self-service benefits administration.
Richard began his career in employee benefits administration in 1992 with one of the first employee benefit service bureaus, Health Benefits America (HBA). HBA offered employee benefits administration outsourcing to very large, mostly Fortune 100, clients.
In 1999, Richard co-founded his own company, Brookline Employer Services & Technologies (BEST), where he began developing a rules-driven, web-based system for self-service benefits administration. BEST soon merged with SYLINQ, which focused on employer groups with 1,000 to 30,000 employees. SYLINQ was purchased by Ceridian in 2002 when Richard became a part of the Ceridian team.
Richard earned a Bachelor of Computer Science and Mathematics degree at Weber State University.

Ryan Baldwin
Chief Technology Officer
Ryan has 18 years of experience creating software for various industries. He has co-founded, developed, and sold two successful software and business service companies (both of which were prominent in their markets). He has extensive experience in developing systems for benefits management and administration, health care provider billing, order processing and inventory management, and manufacturing requirements planning. Ryan has also successfully managed both in-house and outsourced development teams focused on delivering enterprise applications.
Ryan has held positions with Brookline Employer Services & Technologies (BEST), SYLINQ Corporation, and Ceridian.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Utah.

Jim Scott
Enterprise Operations Director
Jim is a seasoned IT professional with more than 30 years experience creating enterprise management systems for some of the country's largest corporations. An accomplished system architect, his vision and expertise in large-scale system integration and data management helped him found a successful consultancy.
Offering a rare blend of technical and business skills, Jim has achieved notable success and is recognized for his ability to meet technology and business objectives from even the most demanding projects.
Jim has held positions with American Express, Ceridian, COSTCO, Hughes, Intel, Northrop Grumman, and Williams International. He also founded a company called Priority Service.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Weber State University.

Carrie Norden, SPHR
Senior Vice President of Operations
Carrie has an extensive background in human resources operations and a wealth of experience in the service industry. Serving as Senior Vice President of Operations, Carrie's executive responsibilities include transition, delivery, client satisfaction, and the achievement of all our company's standards for quality and excellence.
Carrie has worked for PlanSource's parent company, CoAdvantage, for more than 10 years in positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Operations for both CoAdvantage and ZeroChaos, where her responsibilities included Fortune 500 accounts, such as IBM, American Express, GlaxoSmithKline, and EDS. During her tenure with ZeroChaos, Carrie implemented a unique team-based service approach that achieved exceptional member satisfaction. She also served as Vice President of Operations for CoAdvantage, where she contributed greatly to the growth and quality of service delivery.
In addition to her experience with the CoAdvantage family of companies, Carrie served as Quality Director of staffing company Transworld, where she introduced ISO 9000. She also developed and implemented national account programs, including the creation and development of service delivery models for strategic staffing locations.
Carrie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Personnel Administration and Economics from Wichita State University.

Steve Kutina
Senior Vice President of Sales
Steve has worked in the benefits business for over 25 years. He founded Instant Benefits Network (IBN) in 2000 and created benefit communication and enrollment tools for the smaller group market. In 2004, his company launched the first online tool for collecting medical underwriting information on small groups and transferring this data to carriers' for rating. IBN also specialized in building custom administrative platforms for insurance carriers. When PlanSource acquired IBN in 2008, Steve became Executive Vice President of Sales.
Prior to founding IBN, Steve was employed by The Guardian and served in a number of roles. His milestones included the appointment to Guardian's youngest Regional Manager and youngest Divisional Sales Director. He was also chosen to lead The Guardian's Reengineering team and reduced annual expenses by over $28 million. Steve's team at The Guardian also overhauled the company's voluntary product division, which lead to a dramatic increase in sales.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University.

Scott Millson
Executive Vice President
Scott brings over 20 years of benefits, operational, and relationship management experience to the role of leading the company’s Agency Management function. Scott is responsible for managing and overseeing the relationships of PlanSource’s National and Regional agency partners.
Since joining PlanSource in 2006, Scott has leveraged his extensive knowledge of the benefits and outsourcing industry to bring value to the clients he has served. Prior to his role as Executive Vice President of Agency Management, Scott was the President of the HRO Outsourcing business unit for PlanSource’s parent company, CoAdvantage. In this role, Scott led the business unit through a period of significant growth and expansion.
Scott spent nearly 17 years prior with Hewitt Associates, a global leader in human resource solutions for Fortune 500 companies. At Hewitt, he developed and launched two national businesses: Mid-Market HRO and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Outsourcing. As the National Business Leader of Hewitt’s Mid-Market HRO, he grew the business to $50 million in revenue. Additionally, as the National Business Leader for Hewitt’s FSA division, Scott oversaw the product launch and managed it through a significant growth period.
Scott is also very active in the Orlando community. He is the Founder and Chairman of Fast Start Management, a local non-profit organization that promotes healthy lifestyles and fitness to elementary-aged children. He also serves on several boards throughout the community and at his church.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.
